About this project:
In 2014 the Kokatha people of northern South Australia were granted pastoral lease formally held by BHP Billiton. These pastoral leases covered three station – Roxby Downs, Andamooka and Purple Downs and surround the Olympic Dam mine operated by BHP. Partnering with GHD Pty Ltd this project entailed working with the Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation to develop a pastoral infrastructure development and 10-year business plan plus pastoral infrastructure asset assessment report. This work was to assists the Kokatha people develop grazing operations on their stations

• Inception meeting with the Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation and other relevant stakeholders
• Station inspections
• 10 year projected financial analyse including operational budgets and required asset acquisitions
• Pastoral infrastructure development plan including costs
• Current asset assessment and valuation
• Pastoral grazing land assessment
• Investigate business opportunities other then pastoral
• Liaise with Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation throughout project
• Deliver final report.
